It is already Friday guys. The weekend is slowly but surely making an entrance. And with that come even more opportunities to put some fancy clothes on. As I call it: weekends are my Days of style. Or in that case my days of Gucci menswear 2017. Maybe I am a little late to jump on the bandwagon regarding Gucci… but don’t be too harsh on me … I am getting there.
Planning a Look
It actually does not matter to me personally, if we have weekend or no to put something fashion forward on. What I mean by that is, I am not afraid of taking risks on a daily basis when it comes to fashion. But it is more or less better to dress for the occasion. So the first step towards planing a look would be figuring out what will happen throughout the day. Are there meetings, are there casual dinners, or brunches, is there clubbing planned. Are you going to work in the office?
Personality Check
Another thing to consider is the personal factor. It will always help if you know your own style and what fits you. By that I mean: Are you more of a suit guy? Do jeans and more casual style look more appealing on you? What about a jumper? Or even a jacket? Are you more of a sneaker person or maybe more of a loafer or monk fanatic? If you are a girl: Do you prefer dresses or trousers, are you a high heel person or a ballerina one? Do you enjoy more sophisticated or more slouchy looks? All these questions are to be considered when figuring out what to wear.
Knowing your own wardrobe
The third, but maybe most important thing is knowing your wardrobe. Very often that is the thing which leads to a fashion demise and clearly a disaster. Since we live in an absolute materialistic society we are all trimmed to wanting more. So as a natural consequence we end up having more… much more than we actually need. Most of us swamp their wardrobes and even apartments so we forget what we actually own.
That is why I write the word organization with a capital O. It is really crucial to find the right way of organizing your wardrobe so that you can see everything. Don’t forget the jeans section, the coat section, the jackets, accessories section, the shirts, the knits. And the shoes of course! Never neglect the shoes. Recently while I was reorganizing my shoe collection, I had the honor of finding a few pieces I have never even worn.
Gucci menswear 2017
With all that being said here I come at you with one of my favorite looks when it comes to transitional fashion (summer autumn). I guess if you have been following my work for a while now, you would know I have a love affair with Gucci. Especially since Alessandro Michelle took over. With all the new prints and innovations, with the rich fabrics and sometimes really fun take on fashion, Gucci took the world by surprise. And suddenly every fashionista is crazy about the brand. Us guys of course as well… the Gucci menswear 2017 is out of this world. Maybe even presenting us with a new world, a bit like Alice in wonderland.
I am sure you know the feeling: browsing through the Internet and suddenly finding yourself buying new clothing. That was the case for me when I saw that stunning Gucci polo shirt with that beautiful bee collar. It did not take me long to pay… just a few second and I sealed the deal. It was the perfect piece to combine with my Gucci Mormont belt and the backpack from the Tian collection.I have combined these three pieces with simple ripped jeans from Zara and a creeper white leather sneaker from H&M. The clear glasses i chose are from Topman. The one thing I love about these aviator glasses is that they just make the whole look complete and give it that certain cool and modern edge. And do not forget to take a cardigan for the evening.
